White Bean Chik’n Chili
4 oz diced onions
2 oz diced green pepper
1 ½ tbsp chili powder
4 oz Salsa Verde
4 oz vegetable Broth
1 can (15.5 oz) Cannellini Beans or other white bean
1 tsp lime juice
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
Salt and Pepper to taste
Sautee onions and peppers until onion is translucent. Add chili powder and stir to toast the spice mix. Add salsa verde, vegetable broth, Franklin Farms Chik'n Seitan, beans, and lime juice and mix. This recipe can be simmered over low heat on stove or kettle or baked in a 325F oven. Adjust salt and pepper level prior to serving as evaporation will occur during cooking. Serve with tortilla chips, corn bread, or rice. Garnish with green onions, avocado, or cheese.
